S3 Browser
S3 Browser is a powerful and user-friendly freeware client for S3 storage on Windows. It allows you to manage up to two S3 accounts at no cost.
Please use the official package on S3 for installation. Browser webpages.
Basic configuration
Storage settings can be configured via the Accounts button on the left side of the program window.
Then select Add new account
In the following window, select S3 Compatible Storage
Next, enter a Display name for your connection to help with identification if you have multiple accounts. Then, enter the server s3.clX.du.cesnet.cz (replace clX - X with the appropriate storage identifier) And keys: Access Key ID = acces_key and Secret Access Key = secret_key by. Click Add new account to save the settings.
Multipart upload/download configuration
If you need to upload and download large objects (typically larger than 5GB) you need to configure so-called multipart uploads/downloads. In this process, a large object is divided into multiple parts, which are then uploaded or downloaded separately. This functionality can also optimize the data throughput. On the storage system, the object is represented as a single entity once the process is complete.
Open the S3 Browser tool and then click on 1. Tools in the main menu, followed by 2. Options.
Then click on the bookmark 1. General. Then tick the box 2. Enable multipart uploads and define the part
size for upload. Then tick the box 3. Enable multipart downloads and define the part
size for download. In the end, click on the button 4. Save changes.
